Argentina international Alvarez spoke to the media ahead of his return to the national team to prepare for the tournament, sharing his adaptation at Atletico Madrid and his expectations for the national team.
Speaking about his initial experience at Atlético Madrid, Alvarez said, "Everything has gone very well so far. I've had a very warm welcome from my teammates and the coaching staff at Atlético de Madrid, which has helped me to integrate into the family very quickly. Although I've only been here for a few weeks, I'm already starting to understand the tactical requirements of Coach Simeone and the overall needs and expectations of the team. They have given me a lot of help and guidance so that I can adapt more quickly to my new environment and role. We are working hard towards a common goal and I believe we will achieve better results."
When asked about the difference between the two famous coaches, Simeone and Guardiola, Alvarez showed his humility and respect: "All coaches have their unique coaching styles and philosophies, which is the key to their respective success. I am lucky to have played under the guidance of these two great coaches and have learned a lot from them. Whether it's Simeone or Guardiola, I try to do my best to adapt to their requirements and contribute to the team."
Talking about the upcoming national team matches, Alvarez appeared very excited and looking forward to it: "I'm very happy to be back in the Argentine national team and to be with my teammates again. We know that the upcoming matches are very important and we have to prepare as well as we always do. Our goal is always to win every game and keep trying to reach higher goals. Every tournament is a test for us, but we believe that if we stay united and work hard, we will be able to achieve better results."
