Legendary Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand recently gave insight into the career of former Manchester United player Jadon Sancho in an interview, expressing his appreciation for Sancho's performance during his time at Borussia Dortmund, as well as his regrets about his experience at Manchester United.

Ferdinand recalled his relationship with Sancho fondly: "I've known Sancho since he was a kid and I have a deep friendship with his family. So when he decided to join United, I was ecstatic. You know, he has already proved himself at Borussia Dortmund and achieved impressive results."

However, Ferdinand was somewhat bemused by Sancho's performance at United: "But the problem arose that his time at United didn't seem to be going as well as expected. It's probably a page in his career that he wants to turn over as soon as possible. Sometimes, soccer is like that, not every partnership is a perfect match. Despite the complexity of the reasons, the fact remains that Sancho doesn't seem to fit into United's system."

Ferdinand further analyzed the incompatibility between Sancho's technical characteristics and Manchester United's style: "Sancho showed his talent and strength when he was at Borussia Dortmund, but that style didn't get full play at Manchester United. It might be a better choice for him to leave United and find a new stage. I always believe that Sancho has the potential to be a top player, he just needs to find that place where he can express himself to the fullest."

Speaking of Sancho's future, Ferdinand gave positive advice: "If Sancho can now join a team like Manchester City or Arsenal, I believe he will usher in a new chapter of his career. These two teams focus on small-scale cooperation and ball control, which coincides with Sancho's way of playing. I believe that in such an environment, Sancho will perform even better and show his true strength."

Finally, Ferdinand encouraged Sancho: "He has proved his potential, what he needs now is the right team and platform to further prove himself. In the face of the upcoming challenges and pressures, I believe Sancho has enough courage and strength to overcome. I look forward to him finding his own stage and blossoming into an even brighter light in the days ahead."
