The 2022 Football Awards ceremony was held in Monte Carlo on Thursday (22), with Poland's striker Robert Lewandowski winning the title against, among others, the new

world champion

This award is a great way for Robert to make up for his disappointment in the World Cup.

The Golden Footballer Award has been organized since 2003, and each year a player aged 28 or above is selected to receive the award.

Liverpool (England)

Striker Mohamed Sana won the award. Past winners of the award have all been hall of famers, including Baggio, Schofield, Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Todi, Jese, Ibrahim Mogwai, Ennistar, Poufon and many more, with C Ronaldo winning in 2020.

Robert Levendowski has outclassed a lot of his rivals this year, with stars such as Mays, Benschmar and Wojciech Wundejciech on his 30-man shortlist.
