This year's World Cup has come to a successful conclusion, whether it is the most successful in history is still undecided, but it must be the one with the most goals scored, with a total of 172 goals, which is exactly one goal more than 1998 and 2014, setting a new record for the most goals scored in a single World Cup.

Argentina and France fought to a 3-3 draw in extra time, which was a mesmerizing game and one of the few finals that saw a big deal. As a matter of fact, this year's World Cup is generally characterized by a high number of scores, and there are even some very large margins, including England's 6-2 win over Iran, Spain's 7-egg frying of Costa Rica, and Cameroon's 3-3 draw with Serbia, amongst others.

Although France finished as runners-up, their offense was the most powerful, scoring 16 goals in 7 matches, while Costa Rica conceded the most goals with 11, so both Central American teams contributed to the creation of goals.
