In the final, Goloumiani, who scored the second goal for the defending champions, was on the pitch for 44 seconds to seal the win, setting the record for the 3rd fastest reserve goal in World Cup history.

Although the Gallic Roosters scored the first goal in the early stage of the match with Dior Nandis, Morocco counterattacked later and made the battle tense. It was not until the 78th minute that France brought in Eintracht Frankfurt's Giorgio Mianni, who was only on the pitch for 44 seconds when he made it 2-0 in front of the goal to secure France's place in the final, making it the third fastest reserve goal in the history of the World Cup, behind Uruguayan Morales in 2002 and Denmark's Sinter in 1998, who scored in the 16th and 26th seconds after being brought in respectively.

It's worth mentioning that Goloumiani wasn't selected to play in the World Cup, but he was called up by Diggens after Nicholas dropped out due to injury, making him a real wonderkid.
