According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool player Fabio Carvalho spoke about his situation in an interview. He said that he needs to focus on the game at hand right now and whatever happens in the future, he will accept God's will. Carvalho said he has been in touch with Liverpool, especially since he joined Leipzig.

In response to what Leipzig's sporting director said, Carvalho believes that there is no truth in it as Liverpool had made every effort to try and keep him, so his words mean nothing. Carvalho's future is still unknown, but he says that for now he should focus on the game at hand. Whatever his future is, he will accept God's plan.
