Morocco is heavily influenced by French culture and French is still one of the main languages in the country, so this meeting between the two teams can be described as a battle of the French ABs.

Morocco has always been known as the French B-team, and the current team leader, Le Gracie, was born in France and played mainly for French teams during his playing days. As for the captain Lou Manshas and striker Paufal, who were also born in France, there are now five players in the army lineup playing for French Ligue 1 teams, including the €70 million worth of players.
