Poland lost 0-2 to Argentina in the final round of Group C of the World Cup. One of the highlights of the match was Poland's goalkeeper Stefan Szczesny's 12-yard save on Moses in the first half. This was the second consecutive 12-yard save by Szczesny after his last match against Saudi Arabia. After the match, he was praised by England's Schuria and Rio Ferdinand as the best goalkeeper of this year's World Cup so far.

Szczesny has already made one 12-yard save against Saudi Arabia, and together with the Mets penalty, he becomes the third goalkeeper since 1966 to make two 12-yard saves in a single World Cup (not counting the reciprocal 12-yarders), with the last one being US goalkeeper Fedor in 2002.
England's famous Shuria said: "Stjesny performed at a high level in the first half, not only making several key saves, but most importantly, saving 12 yards, which was a wonderful save. Rio Ferdinand also said: I think he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
After the game, Szczesny even said that before the referee was ready to look at the VAR to decide whether or not to call a 12-yard penalty, he had made a bet with Meis: I told Meis that I bet 100 euros that the referee wouldn't call a 12-yard penalty, and I lost the bet. I don't know if the World Cup will allow this, or if I will be suspended, but I don't care.
