Cameroon was truly beaten by one of their own this time! Swiss-Cameroonian Breel Embolo scored a brace to give Switzerland a 1-0 victory over Cameroon. It must have been a day of mixed emotions for the Cameroonians, but both Embolo and Cameroon's head coach Rigobert Song showed a lot of class on the pitch.

Born in 1997 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, he moved to France with his mother at the age of five and grew up in Basel, Switzerland, where he obtained Swiss citizenship in 2014 and began his professional career with Basel in the same year. He is currently playing for Monaco in Ligue 1 and has scored eight goals this season.

After scoring the goal, Guanlu refused to celebrate and raised his hands and closed his eyes to show his respect for his home country. It was the first World Cup goal of his career, and he didn't realize it was against his home country.

Cameroon's head coach Sangji went to talk to Security Road after the game to congratulate him on his victory. In his post match interview, Sangji called Security Road his little brother and said that he and Security Road know each other and talk to each other on the phone all the time. It was a fair game. Just because we're on different teams, it doesn't mean we're no longer brothers. Sanji praised Security Road: "I'm happy for him, I'm proud of him. He's in Switzerland.

I would want him on my side, but that's life.

In 2014, Security Road was given the choice of playing for Switzerland or Cameroon in the future, and in the end he decided to don the Swiss kit. At the time, he said: "This is not a decision for Cameroon, but a decision for Switzerland. Cameroon is where he was born, Switzerland is where he was raised, and he may have made his choice for personal reasons, and there is nothing we can say about it from the outside.

The man of the hour, Security Road has achieved a great deal but still has respect for his home country Cameroon, which he expressed in a non-celebratory gesture. Sanji, on the other hand, expressed his personal relationship with Security Road and was proud of the Cameroonians for shining through despite the loss and for the fair play on the pitch.
