Conceição came from Porto's youth system and was promoted to the first team in 2021, leading Porto to the Portuguese Premier League and Portuguese Cup double in 2022. In July 2022, he was granted a one-year loan by Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax, and returned to Porto at the end of his loan in September 2023, officially signing a contract at the end of the season.
In August 2020, Conceição signed his first professional contract of his career with Porto, which runs until 2023.
On July 21, 2022, Conceição signed a five-year contract with Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax, which came with a liquidated damages clause.
On September 1, 2023, Porto announced that Conceição had returned from a one-year loan spell at Ajax to play in the No. 10 jersey he had previously worn at Porto. Sources say the contract includes a buyout option worth €10 million, which is mandatory if Conceição plays 45 minutes in 25 games.
