I was eager to play there and experience the soccer atmosphere and culture. When this opportunity came up, I didn't hesitate to take it. I believe this experience will be valuable for my future career."
Speaking on his reasons for playing abroad, Okoli said it was not just about pursuing a higher level of soccer, but also about realizing his dream. "I've played on the left, middle and right side of the field and am comfortable with every position in the defense. I believe that as long as we work together as a unit, we will be able to make the most out of the game."
Finally, Okoli also expressed his gratitude to Atlanta. "Atlanta is a very important club and they have helped and supported me tremendously as I grew up. I am proud and happy that I was able to achieve something there. Although I have left there, Atlanta will always be a part of my life.
