In the 2010 World Cup, Ghana's winning shot to reach the quarterfinals was denied by Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez's save, and the ensuing penalties were not scored and the PK battle was lost, ending Africa's amazing journey to the last eight in the most agonizing way possible. In addition, Ghana is undoubtedly Africa's traditional powerhouse, having finished bottom of the African Cup of Nations in six editions between 2008 and 2017.

They were eliminated from the tournament and went home early in the group stage in 2021. This year's WC qualification was also a thrilling experience, as the team was tied with South Africa on points and goal difference in the group stage, and only barely made it to the final round on goals scored.

In the play-offs against Nigeria, two draws and a goal away from home will be required to secure a ticket to the World Cup.

It's been four years, how have you been? Cana: awful ...... So, I've gotten lots and lots of friends to help!

Despite having a rough time of it, Cana still has a number of traveling stars leading the way in their lineup.

Linebacker Daniel Amartey is a Premier League

Leicester City and Cana's main defender, Amartey has not missed a minute of Cana's games this year and is the commander of the defense.

Thomas Partey (below, left) is Cana's midfielder and plays in the English Premier League.

Arsenal, the unsung hero of Arsenal's season at the top of the table, is responsible for consolidating possession in the midfield and protecting the back line. In Cana's system, it will be his extra duty to occasionally drop back to the backline to help distribute the ball, or to play as a padded defender when the fullbacks advance with the ball.

Midfielder Mohammed Kudus plays for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie, and can be a tool man in Cana's lineup from midfielder to front man and front man to pseudo 9's in the midfield, and can contribute greatly to Cana in both offense and defense.

The Ayew brothers are a source of experience on Cana's offensive end. Brother Andre Ayew (Al-Sadd, Qada League) is Cana's captain and soon to be Cana's national team

After struggling to make it to the World Cup with an otherwise flawed squad, Cana Football Association

All the efforts to give the team more reinforcements, lobbying around the continent for players with Canaanite roots to join the national team

.. A total of three solid players have opted to naturalize in Cana and parachute in for this year's World Cup.

Mohammed Salisu, a 23-year-old defender who was in the Premier League last year

Southampton's red-hot defenseman remains a mainstay this season. A naturalized Ghanaian, he made his debut in a September friendly and will be partnered with Amartey at the back.

22-year-old right guard Tariq Lamptey, a speedy youngster who missed more than half a year last year due to a serious injury that stalled his growth, has yet to return to the Premier League.

Brighton

He has been in the starting lineup for the past few years, but he is a young prospect that the team is actively cultivating. In Cana's lineup, he was able to stabilize the previously tattered side of the defense; additionally, with his speed, his aggressive attacking traits could even be viewed as a right winger, able to aggressively step in and run overlaps and give the threat of crosses.

Forward Inaki Williams, 28, will share the offensive end with Ayew after completing his initial appearance on the boards in a September friendly.

Although many powerful reinforcements have been added, it is difficult for them to fully integrate into Cana's system and establish a tacit understanding with the original lineup in the absence of a complete training program before the start of this World Cup. Advancement

The chances are probably not that great, and allowing the new blood to connect with their teammates as quickly as possible on the big stage, looking ahead to future tournaments big and small, would be a more realistic goal for Cana at this World Cup.
