Schlotterbeck and Tower, both center backs, have been impressive this season. Schlotterbeck has made 46 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, scoring two goals and four assists to help the team reach the Champions League final. Tower has made 45 appearances for Leverkusen this season, scoring six goals and one assist to help the team remain undefeated.
