In the opening of Game 4, BLG's duo chose to trade up the lane while T1's Xun came up the lane twice to try and catch Zeus, but was unsuccessful. Both sides continued to develop peacefully in the early game until Oner went down to the dragon pit to grab the small dragon before taking the vanguard, while BLG put all of their resources into this trade.
In the mid-stage, in a small dragon battle, BLG's ON successfully hooked T1's AD player Gumayusi, allowing his teammate Bin to get a blood, and then Zeus also fell to the ground, and BLG hit 0-for-2, with an economy lead of 3k. However, then T1's middle found an opportunity, and Faker's Akari entered the field to get two kills, while T1 listened to the card Earth Dragon Soul.
