The reporter inquired, "In Germany, everyone is watching Sancho, how do you see him developing and what will it take for him to make your squad list?"
Southgate replied, "He's been through a difficult couple of years and he hasn't had a lot of playing time. So, as of now, I don't think he will play in the Europa League in the summer. However, it's good to see him regaining consistent playing time and hopefully he can get back to his old level."
Sancho, who has had a poor season at Manchester United and was also suspended for a clash with Ten Hahn, was loaned to Borussia Dortmund during the winter transfer window. So far this season, Sancho has only made 3 appearances for United, while he has made 19 appearances for Dortmund, scoring 3 goals and 2 assists.
