According to the Daily Mail, Gary Neville spoke in an interview about Manchester United's striker
Hoylen (name)
.. Neville believes that Hoylum is unlikely to be the striker to make history in the Premier League. Although Hoylum had a great goal-scoring performance in his previous six consecutive Premier League games, he didn't show another eye-catching performance afterwards. He didn't find consistent form in his first season at United, which could be injury related.
Neville said, "I think Hoylum needs to stick around. While I don't think he'll be a striker like Harland or Aguero to make a name for himself in Premier League history, he could be a striker like Watkins."
"Hopefully he can be the team's second striker, like Sun and Kane. I interviewed Son and he mentioned Kane. If Hoylum can learn from Kane, then we might see a completely different player."
"Hoylum is only 21 now and this is his first Premier League season. He reminds me of
Nunez (name)
and Nicholas
Jackson (name)
"United only have Hoylum as a center forward now because Martial hasn't played much for years. It's also interesting to note that the conversion rate on fan store sales is up 22%. So when Hoylum does get his chance, he should be more commercially viable than Jackson and Nunez."
"But the problem now is that Hoylum is at the bottom of the table in terms of expected goals, with just 7.4. The other problem is that United's players have problems supporting him as well. You can look at Jackson and Nunez, whose expected goals are 16.3 and 17 respectively."
