One of the most wanted wingers, the club is planning to strengthen their squad significantly in the upcoming summer transfer window, despite the financial difficulties they are currently facing. To that end, they hope to achieve their goal of a 1:1 ratio of revenue to expenditure by attracting strong investors and completing deals that could bring in lucrative returns, such as those with Nike and Barcelona Studios.
Despite the limited conditions, Barcelona are still actively looking for ways to strengthen their forward line, especially the left winger position. Luis Diaz is reportedly one of the key targets on their reinforcement list. While there hasn't been much discussion about Diaz, Mundo Deportivo understands that Barcelona are already planning to sign him after the club got word that the player is keen to join.
Diaz's contract with Liverpool expires in 2027. With the departure of Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool are set for a rebuild which could lead to his departure. Although Barcelona are currently short of funds, they are looking to raise money by selling some of their players.
