Hungary
The team is hoping that captain Dominique Soboslai will return to full fitness and excel when he is named in the national team squad. Skipper Marco Rossi, who missed the last Euro 2012 due to injury on Tuesday, will play in Euro 2024. Soboslai and Barnabas Varga are the team's four-goal tied for the scoring lead, and they soared through the qualifiers to reach their third consecutive Euro since 1972.
Soboslai, 23, made a good start to his first season at English side Liverpool but has struggled for form since returning from injury earlier this year. Former Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacy has also been named in the squad.
Rossi took a chance on veteran defenders Attila Fiola and Adam Long in his 26-man lineup after they were both recently injured.
