Is Walker good?
Walker is an excellent defender, arguably even the strongest right back in the Premier League, with top class fitness and pace.
Walker joined Sheffield United at the age of seven and was a key member of the team's reserve team until 2008. In November 2008, at the age of eighteen, he was loaned out to League One side Northampton to gain more starting experience.
Walker, who had just returned to Sheffield United in mid-January 2009, made his debut for the team.
In July 2009, English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur signed Walker and Kyle Naughton from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee. As a condition of the deal, Walker was required to stay at Sheffield United for the first season on a season-long loan, and started the 2009-2010 season in Sheffield United's starting right-back position until January 2010, when Tottenham Hotspur unexpectedly recalled Walker to fill in for Alan Hutton, who had been loaned out to Sunderland.
On September 13, 2010, Walker was sent on a one-month loan to Championship leaders Queens Park Rangers, and in January 2011, he made his debut for the team when they visited their parent club, Sheffield United.
Spent six months on loan at Aston Villa in 2011. Played 18 games in total, scoring 2 goals.
Walker's contract was extended through 2016, and he was in the starting lineup for the team's first league game against Manchester United at the start of the 2011-12 season.
Walker moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester City on July 14, 2017 for a hefty £50 million transfer fee
