Zheng Zhi's comments are as follows: As captain of Guangzhou, he led the team's meteoric rise to become one of the top teams in Asian soccer in the 2010s. He helped Guangzhou win the AFC Champions League twice, in 2012 and 2015, and although he didn't score many goals, his performances at key moments were crucial to the team.

Ackerson's comments are as follows: He scored world-class goals in two AFC Champions League finals, demonstrating his excellence in big matches. He contributed key goals for Guangzhou twice, in 2013 and 2015, and was particularly memorable in the 2013 final. His goal tally in AFC Champions League history is surpassed by only three others.
