Left the game with an injury in the Coppa Italia final. Atalanta went down 0-1 to Juventus in a match played early this morning, missing out on the title. In the 64th minute of the match, De Jonghn accidentally pulled a leg muscle while chasing back the defense, and then fell to the ground. De Jonghn covered his face with both hands and burst into tears, and was immediately substituted off the field.
Reports indicate that De Jongen walked out on his own after the match, but he appeared to have injured his left thigh flexor and will undergo a detailed examination next. Fans are worried whether he will be back in time as Atalanta will face Leverkusen in the UEFA Cup final on May 23 at 3 a.m. BST.
