In the last group match of Group B of the 2024 U17 Women's Asian Cup, China's U17 Women's Football Team met the powerful Japan team and lost 0:4, but still entered the knockout stage with the second place in the group.

Soon after the match started, Japan showed a strong offense. In the ninth minute, Momo Sato hit the post in front of the goal, and Wangai Fukushima added a shot to give Japan the lead. Thereafter, Japan continued to apply pressure while China struggled to find counter-attacking opportunities. However, in terms of possession, shots, shots on goal and threatening attacks, China was clearly behind Japan.

In the second half, Japan continued to extend their lead. Substitute Hanae Kikuchi scored twice in one-touch on counterattacks to further cement Japan's victory. Just before the final whistle, Ririichi Nezu scored a header from a corner kick to make it 4:0.

Although China suffered a setback in this match, they showed good strength by winning their first two matches in the group stage.
