On the CBS production of Good Morning Football, Marcus Tullam (
Little Tulum
) was interviewed alongside Thierry Henry. Junior Thuram reflects on his excellent first season at Inter Milan and the valuable lessons he learned from Henry.
Junior Thuram said that his first season with Inter Milan was magical for him and he didn't expect to be so successful. He made 44 appearances for Inter Milan, contributing 15 goals and 14 assists, helping the team win the Serie A title. Junior Thuram specifically mentioned that Henry gave him a lot of valuable advice, especially on the mentality of the game. Henry told him that there are no friends on the field and that you must beat your opponent. Toulam Jr. brought this mentality to every game, which helped him have a successful season at Inter Milan.
Speaking about Lautaro Martinez (Lautaro), Tulum Jr. said that Lautaro is the top striker in the world and that they have a great understanding with each other. Tulum Jr. believes that he and Lautaro are very compatible in the attacking end and that they share the same understanding in soccer.
Toulam Jr. also shared an interesting story about having played against Henry in his career, when Henry was the coach of Monaco and Toulam Jr. played for Lille. It was one of the most exciting matches of his career. Toulam Jr. says he doesn't set any boundaries for himself, and that he wants to be like Henry or Benzema, where he not only scores goals, but also helps the team. He sees himself as this type of striker who likes to help the team rather than just score goals himself.
Finally, Tulum Jr. made a little joke about Henry, saying that he hoped Henry would come to visit him during Inter's match against Como. Henry is currently no longer playing soccer, but his influence is still huge. Little Toulam said that Henry is very busy, but he still hopes to get Henry's support and encouragement.
