Feyenoord manager
Slaughter
will be appointed to the position this summer.
Liverpool (England)
manager, replacing the outgoing Jurgen Klopp. Sloter has reportedly signed a three-year contract with Liverpool and will officially take charge on June 1st.
In January this year, Klopp announced that he would leave his post at the end of the season, and this news triggered Liverpool's investigation of a new manager. After a period of screening, Sloter won the recognition of Liverpool's management with his unique attacking style and excellent coaching ability for young players.
Sloter helped Feyenoord win their second Dutch League title in 20 years last season and led the team to second place in the Dutch League this season. These outstanding results made him a target for many big clubs, and eventually Liverpool managed to sign the highly regarded coach.
As previously reported, Liverpool will pay a fixed transfer fee of €9 million plus a variable fee of €2 million for Slaughter, which will bring Liverpool's total outlay to €13 million, counting the assistant coaching team. The fee will be paid within a year.
