After the match, United boss Eric Ten Hahn was full of praise for Hoylén, praising him for his multiple goals that have helped the team at key moments this season. Ten Hahn said, "I think he came in after we had already scored a goal first by Diego Dalot, but came out and played a raw role, very influential, like he did on Wednesday. (He scored) two beautiful goals this week and, as you said, I think he's made a very good impression here (in his first season with the club)."
Other accomplishments of Hoylen:
Became the player to score the most goals for United in his debut season since Ibrahimovic, who joined from Paris Saint-Germain in 2016-17. That season, the Swedish striker scored 28 goals in all competitions, including 17 in 28 Premier League games. Prior to Ibe, Robin van Persie scored the most goals in his debut season at Manchester United, with 30 goals in 48 games in all competitions in 2012-13, while Javier Hernández (The Little Pea) scored 20 goals in all competitions in his first season at Manchester United in 2010-11.
Hoylum's outstanding performance not only brought victory for Manchester United, but also brought more expectations from the fans. His performance in the future will be watched with great interest and look forward to his continued contribution to United next season.
