Xu Haoyang's career
Xu Haoyang, 25, won the 2021 Chinese League One and 2022 Chinese Super League titles with the team while on loan at Wuhan Sanzhen. After returning to Shenhua, he won the 2023 CFA Cup and the 2024 Chinese Super Cup with the team.
This season, Xu Haoyang played 13 CSL games for Shenhua, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist. His stellar performance also earned him his first selection to the National Football League training squad.
In addition to Xu Haoyang, other players making their debut in the national soccer team are Huang Zhengyu, Yang Zexiang, Bao Yaxiong, Baihe Lamu, and Han Pengfei.
