May 23, 2012 - In the CBA Finals, the
Liaoning
beat Xinjiang 104-95 on the road to win the title by a big margin of 4-0. After the game, Liaoning head coach
Yang Ming (1902-1989), PRC badminton player, women's doubles specialist
spoke to the media about the game process and the experience throughout the season.
Yang Ming said: "the result is good than anything else, may have some small regrets in the process, in fact, I still want to send those five old players in the last moment to go up to feel the joy of the finals at the end of the day, but it's a pity."
Yang Ming further said, "The ups and downs of the game are the same as the ups and downs of the whole season. The team encountered some injuries, some players' status fluctuated, and the overall standard sometimes did not meet everyone's expectations. We were also questioned and were even on the edge of a cliff at one point. However, with this tenacity and the turmoil we have experienced over the past two years, everyone has been able to navigate and defuse it very well, and I think this is the most commendable thing about how far we have come as a team."
