Slaughter
's former assistant, Pushchych, spoke highly of Sloter in a telephone interview with the newspaper. Pushchych, who is currently the head coach of Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk Miners, was Sloter's assistant in Holland for five years and the two had a close relationship.
We worked together for five very successful years and it was a fantastic time," said Pucic. Slot was always focused, he was very detail oriented, had a lot of in-depth thinking about the game and was an amazing coach, which he proved both in Holland and in Europe.
