May 24 (Bloomberg) -- According to British media outlet The Daily Telegraph, the
Newcastle United
Hoping to shore up the offensive side of the ball this summer, they are set to sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert at the same time - the
Löwen (name)
and West Ham winger Jarrod
Bowen (name)
Dominique Calvert-Lewin
: Newcastle have had a long-standing interest in Llewyn and have been following his performances for the past two years. With the Saudi club interested in Newcastle striker Callum Wilson, Wilson could leave the club this summer and Llewyn would be a direct replacement for Wilson. However, Newcastle will need to sell Wilson first before a transfer deal for Lewin can take place.
Jarrod Bowen
: Newcastle's interest in Bowen is nothing new, with the signing of the right winger being the club's main priority this summer. Although West Ham are reluctant to lose Bowen this summer, Bowen could consider a move if manager David Moyes leaves. Newcastle have previously enquired about the price of Bowen but have been told each time that he is not for sale to West Ham.
Other Potential Reinforcements
: As well as Bowen, Newcastle are also considering Crystal Palace winger Michael Ollis, but Ollis is also attracting interest from other clubs.
As both of these additions will be expensive, Newcastle will need to raise funds to balance the books by selling players. Wilson's potential departure would free up space and funds for Llewyn to be brought in.
As well as reinforcements in the attacking end, Newcastle are also interested in signing a goalkeeper this summer, with Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale and Valencia's Gyorgy Madasvili among those they are considering.
