Lautaro (name)
Lautaro wants to stay at Inter Milan, says his agent (

), but negotiations need to be conducted on a certain basis. Inter's team reporter Guaro revealed that Lautaro and his agent demanded an annual salary of more than 12 million euros, which is not in line with Inter's strategy.
Guaro said, "I repeat the situation with Lautaro, this (stalled contract renewal) is not about a change of ownership and the changes that come with it. The two sides have not yet reached an agreement, which is always delayed until Lautaro and his agent take a step towards Inter. (Their) first demand was even more than 12 million euros (per year), which is not in line with the club's strategy. We must communicate and act in the same way, with the utmost reason and sincerity, everyone has the right to give themselves a valuation, just speak clearly."
For now, negotiations continue. Guaro noted that the next talks will be very important, and it will then be known if Lautaro and his agent are willing to reassess their initial request - a request that is far from Inter's strategy.
Lautaro has been an important player for Inter and his performance has been widely recognized. However, the demand for an annual salary of more than 12 million euros is obviously beyond the scope of Inter's budget. This has brought the contract renewal negotiations to a deadlock.
