There are ongoing negotiations between Munich and Burnley over the
Vincent Kompany (1985-), French soccer player
The transfer was negotiated, but the two sides have not yet reached an agreement.
The reporter says: "Negotiations between Bayern and Burnley are ongoing and Bayern have decided not to pay the €20 million compensation fee demanded by Burnley."
Kompany is not currently in Munich and is still waiting for the green light to join Bayern. The two sides are in disagreement over the cost of compensation and Bayern's reluctance to pay the high amount of compensation demanded by Burnley has been a major obstacle in the negotiations.
Kompany has quickly devoted himself to coaching since his retirement and currently serves as manager of Championship side Burnley. His coaching performance has been widely recognized, which has also aroused the interest of Bayern Munich. By bringing in Kompany, Bayern hopes to further enhance the competitiveness of their team.
