The one-year extension will see the new contract run through the summer of 2025.

Scott Carson made his first team debut with Leeds United in 2004 in what would be the 21st season of his career.Carson joined Manchester City on loan from Derby County in the summer of 2019 and officially moved to the club as a free agent in the summer of 2021.

Despite not making many appearances since joining Manchester City, Carson remains an important part of the team. Since joining City in 2019, Carson has only made two official appearances, one in a Champions League game and the other in a Premier League game.

Despite his limited appearances, Carson has won numerous honors with City, including:
