Hoffenheim hosted Bayern Munich in the 34th round of the 2023-24 Bundesliga season, and Hoffenheim ended up defeating the mighty Bayern by a score of 4-2, in which Kramaric scored a hat-trick while Neuer made a mistake.
Soon after the game started, Bayern took a quick lead with a cross from the left by Alfonso Davies and a header from Terre. Terre then made another adjustment and sent a straight shot into the back of the net, which Alphonso Davies followed up with a one-touch goal to give Bayern a 2-0 lead in just a few minutes.
However, the game took a turn for the worse in the 8th minute. Neuer made a mistake on the ball out of the backfield and was robbed by Hoffenheim's Bibor. Kramaric made a return pass to Bayer who stepped in and scored, equalizing the game for Hoffenheim. The goal not only galvanized Hoffenheim's fighting spirit, but also set the stage for the subsequent drama.
In the second half, Hoffenheim gradually found the rhythm of offense. In the 68th minute, Bibor got the ball and turned to cross the goal, Kramaric followed up and equalized the score to 2-2. This goal gave Hoffenheim the hope of reversing the situation, while Bayern was in trouble.
Hoffenheim unleashed an onslaught of attacks in the final stages of the game. In the 85th minute, Bischoff's return in the penalty area led to Kramaric's low shot, which helped Hoffenheim go back in front. Just two minutes later, Neuer made another mistake, Kramaric got the ball and got rid of the defense in the penalty area, left-footed low shot to complete the hat trick. The goal also sealed the win, and Hoffenheim beat Bayern 4-2.
