Jairo's agent is in talks with São Paulo FC over the details of his contract termination. The 32-year-old Colombian midfielder moved to São Paulo on a free transfer last July, but missed about half of the year's matches. He played 22 games for the team, totaling 969 minutes and contributing two goals and four assists.Jairo's contract with São Paulo was due to expire in one year, but the two sides decided to terminate it early. Jairo will join the Colombian national team early in preparation for the 2024 Copa America.
