(Andrei) Safronov
Paris Saint-Germain are looking to bring in a new goalkeeper this summer to fill the void left by the departure of Navas. According to L'Equipe, Paris are very interested in Krasnodar goalkeeper Safronov and have made good progress in a transfer deal.
The transfer fee for Paris to bring in Safronov could be close to €20 million (variable fee included). Safronov will act as Donnarumma's stand-in goalkeeper, while Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique hopes that his addition will bring competition to Donnarumma, in line with his principles of managing the team.
Safronov, whose current contract with Krasnodar expires in 2029, has made 30 appearances this season, conceding 27 goals and completing 11 shutouts, and is valued at €18 million on a de turn. Safronov has been a solid performer for Krasnodar, and his arrival will enhance the depth and competitiveness of the goalkeeper position in Paris.
