Serie A
The Italian national team, as well as the Italian national team, which he coached, are the most important players in the world.
Napoli, capital of Campania region of Italy
and many other topics. Luciano Spalletti will lead the Italian national team in this summer's Europa League, which Italy won in the last edition.
Spalletti began by recognizing the work of former manager Roberto Mancini: "Coach Mancini coached very well in the past and we have to carry on his success, which will inspire us to do better. We see that there is this passion in Italy to help us and we are happy for those who bring this feeling. We want this national team jersey to be recognized for its belonging and we must reach the level that Italy deserves."
On this season's Serie A, Spalletti said: "We see a lot of aspects that are doing well. We must congratulate Bologna, Atalanta, Roma, who played important soccer. And Inter deservedly won the Serie A title and provided the national team with pillar players. I also regret Frosinone's relegation because they played well, but sometimes soccer just punishes you like that, even if you don't deserve these difficulties."
Spalletti led Napoli to win the Serie A title last season, but this season Napoli only ranked 10th in the Serie A table, failing to qualify for Europe next season. In response, Spalletti said: "I was surprised because Napoli has a strong team, otherwise I could not have achieved the kind of results last season. I don't know what happened in Naples, maybe you know more. Changing three managers in one season definitely brings some problems, but the squad is still top notch."
Conte is close to becoming the new Napoli manager, to which Spalletti said: "Conte to Napoli? He is a very experienced coach. What would I suggest about the relationship between Conte and President De Laurentiis? At some point I will close my mouth and listen to the president ...... He knows a lot of things, he brought soccer back to Naples and created a strong team."
