The game started quickly with both sides getting into the swing of things, with a fast-paced transition between offense and defense. Angersund was the first to break the deadlock in the 15th minute with striker Joe, before Stabaek equalized with a goal from Thomas. At the end of the first half, Angersund was leading 3:2.
In the second half, Stabaek rallied to equalize again. However, Angersund's offense remained strong and scored two goals late in the game to seal the victory. Although Stabæk scored a goal in injury time, it was not enough to save the game.
Studebaker showed tenacity and hustle in this game, and despite a great performance on the offensive side of the ball, the defensive side of the ball was exposed. Head Coach Bob Bradley will need to tighten up his team's defensive organization in future games.
Angersund, on the other hand, showed a strong offense and good teamwork on the road, as head coach Kjell André Thu's tactics were well laid out and his players took advantage of their chances at key moments to bring his team a valuable victory.
