On March 4, Sohu Sports exclusively disclosed that China's soccer sector ushered in major news. It is reported that the Chinese Football Association (CFA), with the assistance of the China Football League (CFL), has comprehensively collected feedback from clubs in the three tiers of the league on the resumption of the home-and-away match system. Encouragingly, 18 clubs in the Chinese Super League voted unanimously to reinstate the home-and-away system, while the vast majority of clubs in the Chinese First Division also expressed their approval. However, some of the clubs in China B have expressed concern due to epidemic prevention and operational difficulties.

It is worth mentioning that the CFA issued a business letter on the resumption of home and away matches in the 2022 season in late February, and the clubs and local associations have conducted in-depth studies on this. At present, the feedback from all parties has been submitted to the CFA. Among them, the majority of the member associations where the Chinese Super League clubs are located have also expressed support for the resumption of the home and away match system.

Against this background, the 18 clubs in the Central League have also expressed their support for the restoration of home and away stadiums and actively assisted in the preparation of matters related to the tournament. The CFA will join hands with the clubs of the Chinese Super League, the Chinese League One and the local associations to launch the preparatory work comprehensively, and strive to obtain the written permission from the local governments to organize the matches as soon as possible. At present, some cities have issued written permission, and other areas are also actively promoting.

In response to the concerns expressed by some of the clubs in China B about the resumption of the home-and-away system, the CFA will actively coordinate with all parties, conduct in-depth studies, and determine the specific system for the China B League as soon as possible.
