He further analyzed, "We all know what kind of players Doncic and Irving are, and assuming they're both averaging 40 points a game this series, where is the rest of their team's scoring going to come from? You look at the Celtics' headliners, Tatum and Jaylen Brown, and there's no one on the Maverick who can defend them either."
Cousins concluded, "The Celtics have assembled a championship-level perfect team around two cores, and the Maverick has played well in the playoffs, but it's time for it to come to an end. I'll be generous, the Maverick can win two games because of the strength of Doncic and Irving."
