FC Gladbach (Monchengladbach) has officially announced the waiver of 30-year-old midfielder Kevin

Stoger (name)

(Kevin Stöger), both signed until 2027. The signing injects experience and strength into Monchengladbach's midfield.

In the 2016-17 season, Stögel joined Bochum, who were still playing in the German Bundesliga at the time, and scored six goals in 37 games, which is what he did during his first stint with Bochum.

Next, Stögel moved to Bundesliga promotion rivals Düsseldorf and then became a member of Mainz. During his time at Mainz, he appeared in 84 Bundesliga games, scoring 5 goals.

Stögel returned to Bochum over the past two seasons and scored 12 goals in 64 Bundesliga games. He also scored a goal in two of the elevation play-off games.

The addition of Stoger provides more options and depth to Monchengladbach's midfield. His rich experience and stable performance will play a positive role in improving the overall strength of the team.
