As head coach, the news has been confirmed.
Romano noted that Chelsea have signed all contracts with Maresca, including those of the coaching staff. The two sides have signed a deal through 2029 and the contract includes an extension option through 2030.
In order to sign Maresca, Chelsea will pay Leicester City €10 million in compensation, plus another for the coaching staff.
The signing marks a major investment in future development by the Chelsea management and expects Maresca to lead the team to better results.
