) officially announced the signing of French star Kylian Mbappe on a five-year contract. According to Le Parisien, Mbappe will wear the No. 9 jersey in his first season at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid Football Club has agreed with player Kylian Mbappe that Mbappe will play for Real Madrid for the next five seasons.
Mbappe said in his joining speech:

Mbappe joined Real Madrid as a free agent this time around, with his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) ending on June 30th. Mbappe opted not to renew his contract and self-announced last month that he would leave the club at the end of the season.
Mbappe, 25, is a French-born striker who is considered one of the hottest stars in soccer today. He started his career at the Clafontaine youth academy, and in the summer of 2013, at the age of 14, Mbappe joined Monaco's youth academy and gradually worked his way up to the first-team squad over the course of three years.
Mbappe joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan from Monaco on August 31, 2017, before Paris bought him out on July 1, 2018, for €180 million.
During his career in Paris, Mbappe played 308 games, scoring 256 goals and dishing out 108 assists. He helped Paris Saint-Germain win six Ligue 1 titles, four French Cups, three French Super Cups and two French League Cups.
