Napoli have officially announced the hiring of Conte as their manager for the new season, but Conte doesn't plan to make a lot of changes to the squad. Despite Napoli's poor performance this season, the club is in a good financial position with no debts, and De Laurentiis has amassed enough resources for Napoli to deal with any opportunities in the transfer market.
Conte and his team will start with their current players with the goal of reinvigorating the Napoli dressing room and restoring the faded passion. Conte sees Napoli defender Rahmani as a key player, but has also said that significant reinforcements are needed for the back line. He wants to bring in Torino defender Buon Giorno, but there is still a gap between Napoli's €35 million offer and Torino's €45 million asking price.
Replacements for Buon Giorno include Rennes defender Tite and Atletico Madrid defender El Mozo. Di Lorenzo is also a key player for Conte, but for now he needs to convince Di Lorenzo to stay in the team as the player wants to play in a different environment.
In midfield, Conte sees Lobotka and Angouisa as non-sellers. Napoli director Manna is interested in Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra, who is valued at €25 million, but Napoli want to complete the deal for €18 million plus bonuses.
Napoli are also interested in Sudakov, but the Shakhtar Donetsk miners are not willing to lower their asking price of €50 million.
On the offensive end, Politano, Raspadoli and Kvaratskhelya are all non-sellers for Conte. However, despite Kvaratskhelya's intentions to renew his contract, Napoli may find it difficult to refuse to sell him if Paris continue to raise their offer, which has already reached €110 million.
With Osmeen expected to leave in the summer, Lukaku is interested in joining Napoli for a reunion with Conte, but Chelsea are insisting on a price of 44 million euros, the amount of Lukaku's departure clause in his contract, which Napoli are unwilling to meet.
The most viable alternative would be to try and bring in Sporting Portugal's striker Joceles, who has scored 43 goals in 50 games for Sporting Portugal.
