It's official, Kylian Mbappe has ended his stint in the
Paris, capital of France
St. Germain's seven-year career, officially joined Real Madrid. French media BFMTV analysis pointed out that Mbappe in the period of playing for Paris, for France has brought great economic benefits.
Mbappe's first contract in Paris (2017-2022) has a salary of €20 million per year (excluding bonuses), of which income tax is a whopping €9 million, plus various other taxes totaling nearly €17 million per year in taxes. In his first five years in Paris, Mbappe contributed at least €84 million in tax revenue to the French government.
In the summer of 2022, Mbappe signed a new contract with Paris, increasing his annual income from €20 million to €72 million (excluding bonuses). Based on the above calculations, this two-year contract generated approximately €177 million in tax revenue for the French government. In total, Mbappe generated no less than €261 million for the French treasury over these seven years.
Mbappe's departure is not only a major change for Paris Saint-Germain, but it also means that France has lost a major tax contributor. Real Madrid fans expect Mbappe to continue to show his exceptional talent in his new team.
