Conte

Prepare to bring Romelu-

Lukaku (name)

As a result of his appointment to the

Napoli, capital of Campania region of Italy

First signing since taking charge. Napoli have officially announced that Conte has taken charge of the team and the 54-year-old Italian coach has already begun planning transfers.

With Napoli's star striker Viktor Osmeen expected to leave the club this summer, Conte sees Lukaku as a suitable replacement for Osmeen, despite the £113million release fee that has seen clubs such as Chelsea delaying a deal. Lukaku's contract with Chelsea includes a £38million release clause and Chelsea do not intend to take the Belgian striker out on loan again and have demanded that the buyer club pays this release fee.

Conte is ready to reunite with Lukaku after the pair won the 2020-2021 Serie A title during their time together at Inter Milan. That season, Lukaku played 44 games in all competitions under Conte, scoring 30 goals and dishing out 10 assists in an impressive display of form.

Conte's plan is undoubtedly to bring in Lukaku to fill the void left by the possible departure of Osmeen and to boost the team's offense. Fans are also expecting Lukaku to rediscover his best form at Napoli and help the team achieve good results in the new season.
