The national team has announced its final 26-man squad for Euro 2024. Despite veteran goalkeeper Gordon and Rangers defender Souttar failing to make the cut, the manager has selected a team full of energy and potential to push for success at the Euros.

Scotland's 26-man roster is as follows:

Goalkeeper:

Linebacker:

Liam Cooper (Leeds United) Grant Hanley (Norwich) Jack Hendry (Darman Collaboration) Scott McKenna (Copenhagen) Ross McCrorie (Bristol City) Ryan Porteous (Watford) Anthony Ralston (Celtic) Robertson (Liverpool) Greg Taylor (Celtic) Kieran Tierney (Real Sociedad)

Center field:

Stuart Armstrong (Southampton) Ryan Christie (Bournemouth) Billy Gilmour (Brighton) Ryan Jack (Glasgow Rangers) John McGinn (Aston Villa) Callum McGregor (Celtic) Kenny McLean (Norwich) Scott McTominay (Manchester United)

Forward:

Che Adams (Southampton) Conway (Bristol City) James Forrest (Celtic) Lawrence Shankland (Hearts) Morgan (New York Bulls)

Scotland have been placed in a strong Group C at this year's Euros, alongside Germany, Switzerland and Hungary. Their fixtures are as follows:

June 15 BST: First group match against Germany June 19 BST: Second group match against Switzerland June 24 BST: Group stage finale against Hungary

Scotland's roster this time around sees the manager focusing on the overall balance and tactical diversity of the team. Experienced players such as Robertson, McTominay and Tierney will play important roles in leading the team's quest to emerge from the group stage.

Although it is regrettable that veterans Gordon and Souttar have been dropped from the squad, the newly selected players have the same outstanding ability and potential, and we look forward to their outstanding performances on the field of the European Cup. Scotland fans also have high hopes for this team, hoping that they can make history and achieve good results in the European Cup.
