On December 5, 35-year-old former Japan international Yosuke Kashiwagi officially hung up his boots, the midfielder who won the Asian Cup and the AFC Champions League.

Yosuke Kashiwagi, born on December 15, 1987 in a soccer family, has been a midfielder throughout his career. Initially, he played for Sanfrecce Hiroshima before moving to Urawa Red Diamonds in 2010, where he will remain until 2021. During that time, he helped the team to AFC Champions League glory in 2017 and won the Best Player award. The following year, Yosuke Kashiwagi moved to Gifu FC of the J3 League, where he made 24 appearances this season, contributing two key assists.

Yosuke Kashiwagi made his debut for the Japanese national team in 2010 and has played 11 matches in his career. 2011 Asian Cup, he made only one appearance, but witnessed the team's glorious moment of winning the championship.
