.. The Celtics are now up 2-0 in the series and are looking for another road win. The Mavericks, on the other hand, are looking to pull off the upset at home and keep the Finals in doubt.
The Celtics are in top form at the moment and have shown a strong offense and defense in their first two games. The excellent play of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown was the key to the team's victory. Tatum cut down 32 points in G2 and had a very eye-catching performance. Brown, on the other hand, made significant contributions on both offense and defense. In addition, Marcus Smart's defensive and organizational skills were also important factors in the Celtics' success.
However, the Celtics also face some challenges. Center Kristaps Porzingis was injured in G2 and is currently listed as questionable. If Porzingis is unable to play, the Celtics' interior defense will be tested. Robert Williams and Al Horford will need to take on more responsibility inside.
The Mavericks have been underwhelming in their first two games, but they have a strong ability to bounce back at home. Luka Doncic is still the core of the team, and his scoring and organizing ability will determine the fate of the Mavericks. In G2, Doncic chipped in 28 points, but the team as a whole underperformed. The play of Tim Hardaway and Kristaps Porzingis (if he can play) will be the key to a Maverick win.
In addition, the Mavericks need to tighten up their defense, especially limiting the Celtics' outside shooting. At home, the Mavericks need to capitalize on the support of the fans and play with a higher level of energy and intensity.
The Celtics are dominating the series, but playing on the road will be a test. If Porzingis is unable to play, their interior defense will be under tremendous pressure. The Lone Ranger, on the other hand, will need to go all out to try and pull off the upset at home. Doncic's performance will be crucial as he needs to stay efficient on the offensive end and drive his teammates.
The Celtics are predicted to win G3 by a narrow margin, continuing their good run in the Finals. The final score could be around 110-105, with the Celtics continuing to extend their lead. But the Lone Ranger also has a decent chance of winning at home, and the outcome of the game is in doubt.
