U20 Asian Cup
Group results of the qualifiers. As China won the right to host the 2025 U20 Asian Cup, the Chinese U20
national youth league team (hockey, football etc)
There is no need to participate in the qualifying rounds and you will advance directly to the final stage of the competition next year.
The 42nd U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers will be held from September 21 to 29 this year, with a total of 45 teams competing in 10 groups. Five of the groups will consist of five teams each, while the other five will consist of four teams each. In the qualifiers, the top team from each group and the second place of the five groups with the best results, totaling 15 teams, will advance to the final stage of the tournament, together with the
official host (e.g. venue for games or a conference)
China, a total of 16 teams will participate in the final stage of the tournament, which will be held from February 6 to 23 next year.
The specific groupings for the qualifiers are as follows:
Group A: Viet Nam (main), Syria, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Guam
Group B: Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Chinese Taipei (main), Cambodia, Nepal
Group C: Korea, Lebanon, UAE, Kuwait (main), Northern Mariana Islands
Group D: Australia, Saudi Arabia (main), Palestine, Afghanistan, Macau, China
Group E: Tajikistan (main), Oman, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, North Korea
Group F: Indonesia (main), Yemen, Timor-Leste, Maldives
Group G: Iran, Mongolia, India, Laos (main)
Group H: Iraq, Thailand (main), Philippines, Brunei
Group I: Japan, Kyrgyzstan (main), Myanmar, Turkmenistan
Group J: Jordan, Qatar (main), Singapore, Hong Kong, China
Competition in the groups will be intense as the teams compete for a valuable place in the final stage leading up to the 2025 U20 Asian Cup.
