Golden State Warriors star Stephen

Curry (name)

Podcast with father Dale Curry

premieres today. In the program, father and son discuss the top five players of their respective eras, providing interesting perspectives and insights.

During the discussion, Dell Curry asked Stephen Curry about the top five players in the era since he entered the league (2009-2023). Curry replied, "Interestingly enough, the era since I entered the league is actually the junction of two eras where the guard role has changed dramatically. Most of Kobe's and Duncan's peak eras were before I entered the league, so rule them both out. LeBron, KD (Kevin Durant), and Kawhi (Kawhi Leonard) if you're talking roughly from 2009-2023. I know that every time you choose a list like this, people are going to say you left someone out and are going to say, "Oh my god! How did you leave him off the list? What was he thinking! This guy doesn't know basketball! The fourth one obviously I would pick myself, and the last one is really, really, really, really hard to pick, and I'm going with Harden (James Harden)."

In addition, Curry nominated players such as Irving (Kyrie Irving), the Brow (Anthony Davis) and Klay (Klay Thompson).

Dell Curry also shared the top five players of his era (1986-2002), and his choices included Jordan (Michael Jordan), Magic (Elvin Johnson), Bird (Larry Bird), O'Neal (Shaquille O'Neal) and Olajuwon (Hakeem Olajuwon).

This father-son discussion not only provides insight into the best players of their respective eras, but also gives listeners an interesting conversation about basketball history and personal preferences. Fans will look forward to more Heat Check episodes for unique perspectives and enriching basketball knowledge from the Curry father and son.
